Every year, Lebensmittel Zeitung, one of the most renowned publications in the retail sector in Germany, comes together with the Gesellschaft für Marktforschungsinstitut (GfK) to announce the 100 most successful products of the year. Prizes are awarded in the main retail categories, which include, for example, “Water plus” or xxx. Each year, approximately 5,000 products compete against one another.
This TOPMARKE award is unique in that it is not based on the likes or tastes of a jury but solely on “hard facts”. These are facts that can be proved and result from consumer surveys and sales figures as well as positive sales trends in retail outlets. The consumer scan involves approximately 30,000 households and 5,000 consumers. We are therefore especially proud that several of our products have been awarded the TOPMARKE distinction. It shows that these products are particularly popular and are able to attract growing numbers of consumers.
